design this way are proud to present WAITER, a new series of furniture for waiting and resting in the public room. The development have taken it´s offspring in converting the time you spend waiting into a nice experience, a small adventure. At the same time the series have integrated LED lighting and a solar panel with enough effect so the LED light can be self-contained. That means no powerlines to the lamp, and therefore cheaper installing.

The series consists of:

• Upright straw for leaning and playing, integrated LED and solar panel
• Bench, bended straw for sitting and relaxing, integrated LED and solar panel
• Short upright straw for defining spaces and creating outdoor lighting, integrated LED and solar panel.

The company outsider, out-sider.dk, have desided to add this product to their short portfolio of exciting products for the public space.

design THIS WAY have developed the concept from scratch, designing the experience, the shape and size and finally creating the desired construction of the products, with research into materials and production methods.
